To change the ownership of the hard-drive, but that didn't work (Access is Denied). The internal hard drive is connected to the computer and the computer recognizes it, but when I go to access the files, I receive an error notice saying "F:\ is not available, Access is Denied." I have tried using the security setting in the devices properties I'm hoping to move some files onto an external hardÄrive and delete what's not necessary, hopefully solving the problem. Following advice, I successfully pulled it out of laptop and am now trying to gain access to it via a second computer via a SATA-USB wire. So I'm sure it's got too many college papers and photos and music. After some research, I decided the problem might be that my hard-drive is too full: it's a very small hard drive (320 GB) and I've had it for 3 years already After attempting to run windows update, my computer would go black-screen after the windows logo.
